Issue : After upgrading to QAS v1.0.11, not able to open QAS. It shows logo and keeps restarting QAS

Issue in QAS v1.0.11 : 

After upgrading to QAS v1.0.11, not able to open QAS. It shows logo and keeps restarting QAS.

Solution :

Here are the steps to solve it. 

  1. Download the attached file which contains (.bat) for Windows machine or (.sh) shell script file for MacOS.
  2. Put the file in same folder as QMetryAutomationStudio.app(for MacOS) or QAS_Win64(for Windows).
  3. Execute the file which will remove the "org.eclipse.osgi" dir from Configuration directory (For mac it is in QMetryAutomationStudio.app/Eclipse/Configuration/org.eclipse.osgi and for windows it is in QAS_Win64/Configuration/org.eclipse.osgi)
  4. Open QAS and it should behave normally.
