How to take QMetry Database Backup?

All On-Premise Customers can take QMetry Database backup by following the below steps:

Note: Replace your MySQL Username, Password and Database Name in the commands below:

Linux Server:

  1. Open the terminal and go to the MySQL directory: cd /opt/mysql/bin
  2. Take a backup of database using command: ./mysqldump -u[username] -p[password] --routines --triggers --max_allowed_packet=4096M --no-create-db [database-name] > /opt/qmetrydb_backup.sql

The dump would be available under /opt directory after completion of the above command.

Windows Server:

  1. Open the command prompt and go to the MySQL directory:
     cd C:\mysql\bin
  2. Take a backup of database using command: mysqldump -u[username] -p[password] --routines --triggers --max_allowed_packet=4096M --no-create-db [database-name] > C:\qmetrydb_backup.sql

The dump would be available under C:/ after the completion of this command.
