How to use "Add to Current Scope & Other scope" functionality?

Add to Current Scope 

Add to current scope is used to scope/copy test cases across cycles in a Domain.

 

Feature Description : 

Add to current scope is the functionality to add Single or Multiple test cases on the "Domain" level to the "Cycle" level. This helps us to add (Indirect Mean: create/copy) a test case which are exist on the domain level to the test case(s) into current cycle or scope.


Step 1 : Go to "Test Case" module

Step 2 : Make sure you are on the "Domain level"

Step 3 : Create Test case on the domain level

Step 4 : On the Tabular bar > Select the test case to add in the current scope/Cycle.

Step 5 : Click on first option > "Add to Current Scope".

Step 6 : It will pop ups the message "Added to cycle successfully".

 

Add to Other Scope 

Add to other scope is used to scope/copy test cases across Domains/Projects  

 

Feature Description : 

Add to "Other scope" is the functionality to add Single or Multiple test cases on the "Domain" level to the "Cycle" level of the another domain. This helps us to add (Indirect Mean: create/copy/avail) a test case which are exist on the domain level of current domain to the test case(s) into any cycle or scope of another domain.

 

Step 1 : Go to "Test Case" module

Step 2 : Make sure you are on the "Domain level"

Step 3 : Create Test case on the domain level

Step 4 : On the Tabular bar > Select the test case to add in the current scope/Cycle.

Step 5 : Click on Second option > "Add to Other Scope".

Step 6 : It will pop ups the message "Added to cycle successfully".
